As a young professional couple, their priority was a place to relax after a long day and to entertain friends.
Being only 5 x 8 metres, the layout needed to get away from boxy rectilinear shapes that so often characterise contemporary design. The outdoor sofa is positioned to catch the late afternoon sun and the nearby sound of the water feature provides relaxation. The dining area by the kitchen can be extended onto the paving for larger parties and BBQs.
